Historic Orchard at Altapass, 1025 Orchard Road, Milepost 328.3 on The Blue Ridge Parkway. Open late May to early November offering heritage mountain apples grown on our very scenic mountain side. Also Orchard-made fudge, hand-dipped ice cream, local subject books, handmade crafts, live music Saturdays & Sundays, hay rides with historic storytelling weekends (and weekdays by reservation), naturalist events, butterfly garden, special packages for groups.
